How long does a typical treatment take?

Most domestic jobs are completed in one to three days. Larger heritage projects with full replacement can take one to two weeks.

Do we need to leave the house?

Rarely. Boron-based treatments are safe for occupied homes once dry (a few hours). Fumigation requires a single overnight stay elsewhere.

Are the chemicals safe for pets and children?

Yes. We only use treatments approved for occupied domestic use. They're odourless, low-toxicity, and inert once cured.

Will treatment damage period plasterwork or paint?

No. Our heritage technicians work with conservation officers regularly — every application is reversible and finish-friendly.

What happens if woodworm returns?

If active woodworm reappears in any treated timber, call us — we'll come back, reinspect and put it right. Every job is documented in writing and transferable on sale.

Can I get a quote without a quote?

We don't quote without seeing the timber — it's the difference between a guess and a guarantee. The quote is free and there's no obligation.
